WILL NOT RESTORE

I really liked this app, enough to pay 9.99 for the full version. However, once the app was exited after the initial purchase months ago every time we open it back up it requires a "restore". Which would be only mildly irritating if it did not get stuck at 80% and freeze my iPad every time I try to let my son play. I am deeply disappointed that I spent this money and cannot even use the app.
