Age appropriate education
Kids Academy does it again with a great educational app for your child.
To start, a parent must sign up for a free trial, which can be cancelled in the settings at any time. Id prefer not to have to remember to cancel a subscription in order to get a free trial, but thats the only complaint I have about this app.
What I love is that you immediately tell the app your childs age and it starts them at the appropriate level. The app uses videos and interaction to teach children different math skills and uses several games for each skill. Like most games, you get a 3 star scoring system.
The friendly voice seems to be used for most of the characters (my daughter hasnt gotten very far due to age & time) in the game, and as an adult, Id like to hear different voices for different characters, but I dont think the kids care.
Finally, I really enjoy that the narrator uses different words for the same concept, so that kids get familiar with the various ways to say things. As a parent, I dont always think to tell my daughter that minus and subtraction are the same thing.
